What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director, Go To Market Solutions, Best Buy Ads position at Best Buy?
As the Go to Market Leader, you’ll lead the development of our positioning of Best Buy Ads offering and strategy for all key constituents (clients, agencies, b2b industry, key internal meetings and platforms). You’ll direct the development of all materials by leading a team skilled in product/sales solutions, narrative storytelling and thought leadership/events. Additionally, you’ll guide the development and execution of events that are uniquely Best Buy Ads (our version of an upfront presentation). Your role will involve strategic partnership across research, product, marketing and sales to develop the most engaging stories that reflect the Best Buy Ads value proposition. You’ll also identify new and innovative ways for Best Buy Ads to show up to create differentiation and demand for the commercial business.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at our Best Buy Corporate Campus in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do
- Direct and lead a team
- Develop all go to market positioning for the BBY Ads business portfolio; support the President in all strategic initiatives including board presentations, town halls for example.
- Lead product marketing for new products, capabilities and partnerships.
- Guide the development and execution of the BBY Ads B2B sales marketing calendar including key events/sponsorships, keynote presentations, thought leadership, etc.
- Directly report to the President BBY Ads informing strategic direction and prioritization for the business.
- 10 years sales marketing experience, preferably in the digital sales or retail media space
- 5 years experience leading and building teams
- 5 years B2B Marketing strategy
- 2 years of Retail Media experience
- 2 years of Product Marketing experience
