Full Time Estimating Assistant needed for a small but busy office in Plainfield Illinois. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The perfect candidate must have prior experience with requests for quotes (RFQ), request for proposals (RFP), contracts and purchase orders with strong communication skills, organization and attention to detail.
Starting Salary will be $45,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication with Clients on services and work.
Ensuring clear and timely communication with the Client throughout the estimating process.
Preparation of client files, RFQ’s documents and Proposals.
Research Contractors and Vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
Distribute bid documents to subcontractors and suppliers and collect quotes for Estimator.
Ensuring all project documents are proofread and organized for Estimator.
Managing and updating Client files as needed.
Assist in reviewing the accuracy of Proposals and RFQ documents prior to sending them to clients.
Review of the clients accepted Proposals, Contracts and Purchase Orders for accuracy.
Maintain the sales database for all existing and new clients.
Coordinate excepted work with the Project Scheduler and Project Management team.
