Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts and reservations.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette to address guest needs.
- Assist with night audit procedures as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to provide guests with helpful information.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Process reservations through phone systems or online platforms while maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multi-line calls effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing guest accounts and reservations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
