Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered and presented to the highest standards of cleanliness. You will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of service in our hotel, contributing to guest satisfaction through your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Launder and clean various items including linens, towels, and uniforms using appropriate washing techniques and equipment.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.

Experience

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laundering techniques for various fabrics and materials is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.52 - $9.93 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• On call
