Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of the nursing department and facility, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective staffing plans, ensuring adequate coverage and resource allocation.
- Communicate with residents, families, and colleagues, maintaining open and transparent relationships.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and vendors/services to optimize resident outcomes and improve care processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must:
- Hold a current and good standing RN License in the State of New York.
- Have experience working with geriatric, short-term rehab, or Alzheimer's patients (desirable).
- Demonstrate progressive nursing experience, including supervisory experience (preferred).
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
