Beyond A Resume seeks a Quality Assurance Assistant for our biotech client in Gaithersburg, MD.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Provide administrative support to site Directors and the Quality Department.
· Develop, review, update, and maintain documentation, including manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), records, and forms to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input for the creation, revision, and distribution of documents.
· Ensure proper version control, timely updates, and accessibility of all documentation.
· Coordinate with departments to gather necessary information for document updates and track progress on document development and revisions.
· Communicate document changes to relevant personnel and organize document discussion meetings.
· Maintain accurate records of document statuses and ensure effective communication across departments regarding updates and requirements.
· Assist with the development of new SOPs and associated forms to enhance operational efficiency.
· Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth collaboration and adherence to documentation standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in handling documentation.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across multiple departments.
· Legal eligibility to work in the United States is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Biology, Laboratory Management)
· Experience in document control or quality assurance, particularly within a laboratory setting.
· Familiarity with quality-related or document control software tools.
· Knowledge of industry-specific standards and best practices in document control, quality, and/or laboratories.
· Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.
· Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Work primarily conducted in an office environment.
· Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk.
