Orthodontic Assistant

Beyond Dental is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast-growing multispecialty office that specializes in general dentistry, orthodontics, pediatrics, and oral surgery. Work Schedule

(Please note, this schedule is mandatory to be considered for this position)

Patient hours:

Wednesday (9:00am-5:00pm)

Alternating Friday & Saturday (9:00am-5:00pm)

Requirements:

• Perform Orthodontic Adjustments
• Placing and repairing brackets
• Collecting Orthodontic Records
• Digital/Traditional Impressions
• Invisalign Delivery and Patient Care Instructions
• Debonding Braces
• iTero Scan new Pt's
• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

· High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

· Bilingual (Preferred)

· Basic computer literacy

· Must have access to reliable transportation

· CPR certified (Preferred)

· X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

· Nitrous Oxide Certification (Preferred, but not required)

· Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred, but not required)
