Industrial Inside Sales (Industrial/Contractor Supply)

B&F Fastener Supply is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Sales/Counter Sales Representative to join our team. As a key player to our team, you’ll be the face of our company, interacting with customers both in-person and over the phone. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and building strong relationships with our customers.

B&F Fastener Supply Overview:

We are a full line industrial supply distributor, with a heavy focus on fasteners, power tools (DeWalt and Milwaukee), and Safety supplies. We provide several different value-added services to our customer base, which truly makes us a one stop shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Taking and Processing:

• Accurate Order Entry: Accurately input customer orders into the order management system, ensuring correct product codes, quantities, pricing, and delivery details.
• Order Verification: Double-check order details to minimize errors and avoid costly mistakes.
• Order Acknowledgment: Confirm order details with customers, providing order numbers and estimated delivery times.
• Order Tracking: Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Order Expediting: Work with the warehouse or logistics team to expedite orders when necessary.

Counter Sales (primarily tool and tool accessory sales)

• Customer Satisfaction: Provide top-notch customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Sales Success: Identify and pursue sales opportunities, promote products, and close deals.
• Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge or experience with fasteners and power tools
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior sales experience preferred, but not required

Compensation: $18-$22 depending experience
