Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead HR function for the America Business – a team of 4 HR members across the region
- Implement HR Transformation in the region – automation of HR processes, reengineering of HR processes and systems, outsourcing of operational HR work, elevating HR capability.
- Formulate HR Strategy in line with business strategy and regulatory framework along with business unit leaders.
- Make HR Operations plan and lead its implementation.
- Organize HR systems and processes right from manpower planning to selection, induction, and staffing.
- Facilitate implementation of Performance Management System for employees.
- Identify technical and managerial capabilities to be developed and organize training & development programs.
- Administer recognition program along with line managers, ensure that employees are meaningfully engaged and aligned to meet business objectives.
- Ensure units are complaint to local laws and regulations.
- Guide and develop unit HR Team to achieve their priorities.
Skills & Competencies:
- The ideal candidate for this role should have a good understanding of business functions, good communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding business partnership skills and experience in organization restructuring
- Should have good understanding of Labor & Employment Laws and regulations
- Good understanding of Immigration laws and rules

Staffing level, TAT for recruitment, Employee Cost, Attrition, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement/ attrition, WC relationships.
Requirements
Candidate should have a graduate or postgraduate / master’s degree with specialization in industrial psychology / HRM (SPHR or equivalent) with 18-20 years of experience in automotive / industrial / aerospace / consumer, manufacturing and engineering industry in Recruitment, Talent Management, Plant HR Operations, Training, Trade Unions, CBA’s and HR Compliance.
Reporting To: Reports directly to Ganesh Chandan–Group President and CHRO ganesh.chandan@kalyani.in and dotted line to Ravi Nagarkar, CEO of Bharat Forge America.
