Financial Controller - 1487

An established company in Union, NJ, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead and oversee all financial activities. This strategic role involves managing accounting operations, financial planning, treasury management, human resources functions, and risk management to ensure the company operates efficiently and achieves its financial goals.

Responsibilities Include:

Accounting:

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Overseeing General Ledger (GL) operations.
• Ensuring accurate inventory accounting and controls.

Financial Management:

• Developing and managing budgets and financial projections.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Leading auditing processes and ensuring tax compliance and planning.

Treasury:

• Overseeing cash management activities.
• Managing commercial financing and relationships with financial institutions.

Human Resources:

• Supervising staffing and recruitment processes.
• Administering employee benefits programs.

Risk Management:

• Overseeing corporate insurance policies and risk mitigation strategies.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience in eCommerce business.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 8 years of experience in finance, with prior experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, US GAAP, and financial reporting.
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
