Job Description:
Performs all duties related to processing Legal (attorney, court orders, risk and subpoenas) or Government audits (RAC, MIC, MAC, ZPIC, CGS, DRG/Coding Insurance Audits) requests for disclosure accurately and timely and adhering to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and system policies and procedures.Functions in a technical role by ensuring and protecting customer privacy and security at all times. Promotes Corporate Integrity through Compliance with the BHS Corporate Responsibilities

Minimum of ONE or more of the following, preferred
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
