What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Stretch Blow Mold (ISBM) Sample Lab Technician position at Big 3 Precision Products?
Position Overview:
Responsible for the tasks involved with set-up and operation of Injection Stretch Blow Mold equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete install and uninstall of tooling and molds
- Perform unit cavity samplings
- Perform quality checks on bottle containers
- Document machine and process parameters
- Learn and perform process adjustments for desired container
- Keep work areas neat and clean and in an orderly manner
- Assemble production tooling and molds for shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities:
- Detail oriented
- Professional attitude and time management skills
- Dependability
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel and climb ladder
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to operate electric pallet lift/fork truck
Education/Experience:
- High school education of equivalent minimum
- Plastics Injection Stretch Blow Molding experience preferred
- Previous machine operation/mechanical knowledge in manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge of Nissei/Aoki machines a plus
Additional Information:
- Observe and comply with all company & safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Office/warehouse environment.
- May occasionally be exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting, etc.
