Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara and the Southern Tier is looking for Mentors to join our team!
Mentors are responsible for planning and implementing activities for youth in small group and individual settings. Mentoring activities include, but are not limited to, providing supervision and guidance to children in our program, assisting with academic and social performance goals, and providing positive role models for children to emulate.
Mentoring requires dedication, patience, and flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship and support to youth, fostering personal growth and development.
- Engage with children in educational and recreational activities, ensuring a safe environment.
- Collaborate with families to address individual needs and challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Drive to various locations as needed, ensuring reliable transportation for program activities covering Delevan, Olean, and Salamanca areas.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
