Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Assistant:
* Clerical tasks / sorting, shipping and processing mail and order fulfilment for the cigar and Specialty Meat portions of the company.
* Sending and receiving packages, freight shipments of mail on behalf of the company, using UPS, FedEx, USPS and PeriShip.
* Keeping track of miscellaneous inventories. Updating records, and ordering stock or inventory as needed.
* Maintaining files using Microsoft Office Products and Paper filing, this includes client, customer, and A/P records.
* Welcome visitors to the office, answering phone calls, taking and delivering messages.
* Perform routine cleaning of the office.
* Respond to telephone inquiries, emails and all social media requests.
* Perform routine bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
* All other tasks as indicated by management.
Customer Service Representative:
* Answer questions about products, services, pricing, policies, and order status via phone, email, live chat, social media or other communication channels. Provide introductory information to prospective and new customers.
* Establish a rapport with customers and supplier partners, actively listen to their needs and provide a personalized service.
* Maintain expert knowledge of current products, services, and company policies to accurately answer customer questions.
* Sales & Cold Calls – promoting additional or new products available, inquiring about current inventory and products needed.
* Process orders: recording orders, verifying details, arranging shipping details and ensuring accurate processing, including but not limited to packing, labeling, and checking expiration date, as well as coordinating with freight companies.
* Follow up and ensure that all clients or customers are satisfied with products or services. Resolve all customer complaints or issues, providing solutions and addressing complaints in a timely and professional manner. Assist with returns and exchanges according to company policies.
* Identify issues that require further attention and report them to the appropriate person. Communicating all customer information updates, account management and records changes.
* Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to products or services.
* Building and grounds maintenance as instructed by management.
* Miscellaneous office tasks as needed to fulfill job tasks.
* Daily website and social media inspection for accuracy.
* All other tasks as indicated by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
