What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Copywriter position at Bio-Rad?
This is for a Clinical Diagnostics copywriter / editor in the Bio-Rad Creative Services Department. As part of a growing content team, you will review, edit or write, and align messaging for high-priority outbound marketing projects for digital, social, and traditional media. The areas of focus include immunohematology, infectious and autoimmune diseases, diabetes and hemoglobinopathy, quality control solutions, and molecular diagnostics. You will work collaboratively with the Creative Services designers and interface with internal marketing, brand, events, digital, and project management teams to deliver on-time, professionally reviewed marketing material. As part of the content team, you may be asked to review prepared copy or draft original copy for webinars, emails, exhibit collateral, videos, traditional media (e.g., brochures, flyers, sales sheets, fight cards, etc.), case studies and testimonials, social media, and web pages.
How You’ll Make An Impact :
- Review and refine marketing materials : Lead thorough reviews of various marketing materials, ensuring alignment with marketing messaging, customer engagement strategies, product messaging, and adherence to editorial, brand, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
- Critical thinking and stakeholder collaboration : Apply critical thinking skills to assess content submissions for consistency, relevance, and alignment with other assets. Identify gaps, flag potential issues, and proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, complete, and aligned with broader strategic goals.
- Innovative content optimization : Leverage creative and strategic thinking to enhance content reviews, ensuring deliverables align with quality standards while effectively supporting messaging objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall business metrics.
- Contribute to science content strategy : Play a key role in science content discussions, bringing insights into usability, customer personas, customer journeys, and engagement strategies. Continuously develop an understanding of scientific concepts to ensure content effectively communicates complex topics for various audiences.
- Drive social media strategy and analytics : Contribute to the development and execution of our social media strategy by collaborating on content creation, analyzing performance data, evaluating KPIs, and refining social media campaigns based on data-driven insights to maximize impact and engagement.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is $94,100 to $129,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
