Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Sponsorship, the Business Development Co-op plays a key role in supporting the sponsorship function by managing the day-to-day operations of the sponsorship program and optimizing related processes.
This role is responsible for coordinating incoming sponsorship inquiries, supporting BioLabs’ Golden Ticket corporate program, and collaborating across multiple teams—including operations, finance, and BioLabs Marketplace—to ensure the seamless fulfillment of sponsorship benefits and overall customer success.
Responsibilities
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain and manage the BioLabs sponsorship CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry.
- Sponsorship Fulfillment: Collaborate with BioLabs site teams to ensure the effective and timely delivery of all sponsorship benefits.
- Marketing & Communications Support: Assist with sponsorship-related marketing efforts, including social media fulfillment, content creation for sponsorship newsletters, and internal/external communications.
- Financial & Contribution Tracking: Support the tracking and reconciliation of sponsorship contributions, ensuring alignment with sponsors’ internal records.
- Golden Ticket Program Support: Coordinate and manage Golden Ticket program events and activities by working closely with BioLabs sites and partners. Maintain accurate records and update the Golden Ticket webpage on Wix.
- Process Development: Assist in refining and developing internal processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sponsorship program.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Able to commit to working 40 hours / week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from Mid May to December 2025 (hybrid, two days in the office).
- General knowledge of the sales cycle stages.
- Computer proficiency required: experience with MS Suite (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint). And with collaborative interfaces such as Teams, SharePoint.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as salesforce and PM tools such as smart sheet, Wix knowledge is a plus.
- Strong planning, organizational and customer-focused skills are a must to ensure minimal negligence.
- Ability to work successfully in a collaborative environment and demonstrated ability to participate in and work in teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
