As an early-stage venture, the team can be characterized as highly autonomous and self-motivated with a passion for market disruption and customer focus.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Head of Sales, AMR to lead and optimize sales across the United States for our organization. Through development of people and processes, you will execute sales strategies, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth and continued uptake of biomodal's core technology.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced salesperson with a proven track record supporting commercial activities in the omics space. You should be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the US biotech market and be comfortable operating across both academic and industrial sectors.

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Head of Sales, AMR to lead and optimize sales across the United States for our organization. Through development of people and processes, you will execute sales strategies, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth and continued uptake of biomodal's core technology.
- Lead biomodal's AMR Sales/Business Development organisation (5 headcount)
- In conjunction with the Head of Global Business Development & Customer Success, develop and execute on sales strategies to drive the uptake of biomodal's Duet platform.
- Support the team with high level business meetings and key account management
- Work closely with the Commercial Operations Lead to develop and strengthen sales processes and reporting utilising the Salesforce CRM.
- Build strong cross organization relationships with Marketing, R&D and Product Management to ensure the voice of customer is heard and acted upon.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced salesperson with a proven track record supporting commercial activities in the omics space. You should be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the US biotech market and be comfortable operating across both academic and industrial sectors.
- Proven experience in a field-based sales, business or market development role in the genomics &/or life sciences industry with proven track record of hitting targets and delivering results
- Bachelor degree required; PhD &/or MBA preferred
- Direct experience, ideally in a commercial capacity, with NGS, single cell, or multiomics technologies or their applied use
- Experience leading sales teams or managing salespersons, ideally in a geographically diverse setting.
- Experience negotiating complex B2B or enterprise-level commercial agreements preferred
- Experience selling into or managing commercial relationships at academic cores, CROs, pharma, or translational labs preferred
- Knowledge in the fields of cancer research, neuronal disorders, aging and/or reproductive health a plus
- Exceptional communication skills in English – written and oral; must be a very strong public speaker
- Exceptional organizational skills – planning and follow through, track record of successfully managing many competing priorities at one time
- Self-starter, solution oriented, collaborative, team-player; a "can-do" and "customer first" mentality
