GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maximizes sales, profitability, and account penetration by effectively promoting and selling the company's products, while personally securing new business accounts and customers.
JOB DUTIES
- Plans and organizes a targeted sales strategy to maximize acquisition of the specialty area.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with prospective and current franchise and chain partners including corporate and franchisees.
- Works with marketing and education to develop related support and promotional calendar to grow and support the National and chain account segment.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals, quotations and contracts for prospective national and chain groups.
- Makes outbound telephone calls, emails, text messaging, video training, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
- Works active leads and customer list to close sales to highly qualified prospects.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.
- Achieves daily, monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives through proactive engagement and strategic selling techniques.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Manages the company's CRM database to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and gathering information to determine their potential.
- Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
- Participates in trade shows, conventions, and industry events demonstrating, educating, and selling products as required (generally limited to 2 or 3 trade shows throughout the year).
- Effectively represents the organization's brand and values during events.
Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
This position will be required to work on-site in our Tustin, CA office 5 days a week.
Salary Description
75,000 base commission
