Full Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Ridgefield, CT
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00am-6:00pm (The family are flexible if the nanny needs a slightly different schedule - please inquire if so)
Compensation: $33-35ph with guaranteed hours.
Benefits: Benefits include paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off. Nanny vehicle provided for on-duty hours.
Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found. This is a long term position.
Age of Child: 6 month old boy - healthy, happy and adorable.
This warm, funny and vibrant family is looking for a long-term nanny to join them in raising their first child, a happy and healthy 6-month-old who has just started eating solids. As first-time parents juggling full-time jobs and household responsibilities, they need a nanny who can provide not just childcare but also a sense of balance in their busy lives. They value teamwork and want a nanny who will collaborate with them in a holistic way—helping with light household tasks like laundry, occasional meal prep, organization, errands, and pet care (their golden retriever is like their second baby, so a dog-loving nanny is a must!)
They have a welcoming home and pride themselves on being funny, respectful, and deeply in love—not the type to yell or argue. They appreciate a laid-back, positive, and nonjudgmental nanny who offers great feedback and enjoys being part of a family team. With a home renovation project on the horizon, they need a nanny who is flexible and can pivot between childcare and coordinating with vendors—but never both at the same time, as they highly respect the boundaries of the role. Requirements:
- Have a thorough understanding of infant/toddler milestones and know the basic requirements of a professional nanny including food safety, general hygiene, age-appropriate activities, first-aid/safety/emergency procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years professional childcare experience.
