Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper Position
- Location: Roxbury, CT
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM is preferred but can be flexible for the right fit

- Children: One child, a 6-year-old with interests in learning, art, science, sports, including ballet, skiing, swimming, golf, and tennis.
- Salary: $30 - $35 per hour
- A dynamic family, recently relocated from NYC to rural Connecticut, is seeking a Nanny/Housekeeper to provide both child care and household management. The ideal candidate is reliable, detailed oriented, responsible and loving.
Duties include:
Full responsibility for overseeing the daily care, cleaning, organization, and maintenance of the house (there is also a full-time property manager). This position consists of a full-time, 5-day work week, ideally Tuesday-Saturday (Monday – Friday possible), with flexibility and availability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Handle household laundry, maintain closets, and organize storage areas. Assist with dinner parties and entertaining as needed. Prepare basic meals for their child. Help prep meals for the family.
Ideally cook occasional meals for the family. Track and order household supplies. Run household errands as needed. Assist with caring for one child (age 6) as needed, including meal prep, occasionally overseeing homework/crafts/play, occasionally driving to and from activities, nighttime routine when needed. Potential to travel with the family domestically and internationally.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a housekeeper/nanny (live-in) with more than 5 years of experience with at least one family (recent).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professionalism and discretion in all aspects of the job.
Flexibility in working hours, as some evenings/weekends may be required.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
Cooking skills are a strong plus. Open to Live in or Live out, some occasional overnights requested.
