Position Overview
The Fertilizer Technician works to maintain some of Omaha’s most beautiful residential and commercial properties. The person in this role works to ensure the health and vibrancy of lawns and landscapes by applying fertilizers and other soil amendments.
Essential Job Functions
· Ability to work independently or with a team
· Experience loading, mixing, handling, and applying soil amendments such as fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides
· Ability to complete general maintenance on equipment
· Daily expectation to be on time, responsive, and a great communicator
Preferred Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Bilingual is preferred, but not required
· Basic knowledge of plants, tools, and landscape equipment
· Previous experience in turf maintenance including aeration and fertilization
· Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. multiple times a day
