Role Overview/ Job Purpose: The Fertilization Applicator is responsible for applying fertilizers, weed control, and other turf care products to maintain the health and appearance of residential and commercial lawns. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of lawn care best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other turf care products safely and accurately following product labels and application rates
- Assess lawns for signs of weeds, pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and report findings
- Operate and maintain spreaders, sprayers, and other application equipment
- Keep detailed records of treatments, including areas covered, products used, and any observations made during applications
- Communicate with customers on-site to explain services and answer basic questions
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure proper handling and application of turf care products
- Assist with other turf maintenance tasks as needed

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Experience in fertilization and/or lawncare is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of fertilizers, weed control products, and lawn care best practices is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Certification of Pesticide Applicator (or willingness to obtain certification)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
