Position Summary :
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This includes entering financial transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts.
We are looking for someone that thrives in an engaging work environment where there is constant, in-person interaction with people of all levels. This position will play a key role in the Company's Accounting Department by performing a variety of accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely recording of business transactions.

Job Duties & Requirements :
- General Ledger Maintenance :
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely entries for various financial transactions.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, long-term liabilities, and other general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Assist in the preparation and execution of the monthly and year-end close processes.
Support accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, ensuring timely payment, and maintaining vendor records.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data, reports, and documentation.
Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Perform other accounting-related tasks as required by the finance department or management.
