Additional Information About the Role

BJC Medical Group is looking for a Risk Management Coordinator! This is a hybrid opportunity that requires some onsite presence. As a coordinator, you will play a crucial role in minimizing patient risk occurrences. The ideal candidate should have clinical experience, with RN experience being preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Coordinate risk management activities to eliminate or minimize losses due to personal injury, professional liability, property damage or citations from regulatory agencies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identifies loss exposure, risk control priorities and implements practical problem solving approaches to prevent or minimize loss.
  • Develops and coordinates educational programs to employees on topics related to risk management, loss prevention, safety and regulatory issues.
  • Develops, maintains, distributes, and provides in-services, and periodically updates various manuals.
  • Works with legal counsel and insurance carriers in investigating all incidents, accidents, or events that could lead to financial loss.
  • Disseminates information on claim patterns and risk control.
  • Minimum Requirements

    Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • - Business/HC Admin/related

    Experience

  • 2-5 years
  • Supervisor Experience

  • < 2 years
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Master's Degree
