The Talent Acquisition and People Generalist is responsible for actively assisting and driving the recruitment and hiring processes across Black Butte Ranch. Develops and implements strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function, onboarding, community partnerships, and overall candidate experience. Collaborates with leadership and hiring managers to understand the current and future hiring needs and align the recruitment goals with the business and seasonal needs of the Ranch. The Talent Acquisition and People Generalist will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and seasonal hiring as well as supporting the People and Culture team in other areas, including the summer J1 program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and candidate/ hiring manager communications.
- Conduct initial interviews and screening to identify potential candidates and generate interest in job openings.
- Utilize sourcing techniques to attract talent and meet departmental hiring goals through various platforms and community partnerships.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Leverage applicant tracking system and job board relationships for efficient candidate management.
- Assist in training development initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of new and existing staff specific to selection and retention of new employees.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular updates on progress to hiring managers. Assist in reporting and auditing in other areas within People and Culture.
- Assist with J1 recruitment program and international student recruitment. During high volume season assist with other responsibilities relative to the J1 program.
- Drive employee retention related events i.e. employee appreciation events through the year and year end, seasonal events.
- Other People and Culture activities as needed to support the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and tools is essential.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems. Experience with ADP is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
