Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating group sales revenue by identifying and cultivating relationships with corporate, leisure, and event clients. This role involves managing the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager contributes to the resort’s overall sales objectives and reputation for exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure group sales opportunities within assigned markets, including corporate, leisure, and event clients.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, providing tailored proposals and solutions to meet their needs.
- Negotiate contracts to maximize revenue and ensure alignment with the resort’s sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including catering, events, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of group bookings and events.
- Conduct site visits and sales presentations, highlighting the resort’s unique features and offerings.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database of client information, sales activity, and pipeline status.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the resort at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the brand and build a strong client base.
- Provide regular sales updates and performance metrics to the Director of Sales, including key wins and pipeline progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality sales or related fields, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of sales strategies, market segmentation, and the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, property management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed.
