We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Facilities to oversee the maintenance and operations of all company properties, ensuring safe, functional, and efficient workspaces. This role will collaborate closely with Ownership, the Director of Construction, and the Chief Operating Officer on company-wide initiatives.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Facilities to oversee the maintenance and operations of all company properties, ensuring safe, functional, and efficient workspaces. This role will collaborate closely with Ownership, the Director of Construction, and the Chief Operating Officer on company-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all facility maintenance and repair, including structural, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program in accordance with company policies.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for routine inspections, emergency repairs, and other services, including negotiating contracts.
- Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, including delegating and completing maintenance requests.
- Generate and present regular reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other relevant occurrences (e.g., weekly R&M reports) to leadership and relevant staff.
- Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facility needs.
- Manage and maintain records of warranties, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for all equipment.
- Oversee the inventory, storage, and distribution of facilities equipment, company vehicles, and tools.
- Evaluate and recommend purchases of new equipment and tools.
- Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions and respond to emergencies, including extreme weather events.
- Regular travel, including overnight weekdays and weekends, is required
- Maintain on-call availability to address urgent facility needs, regardless of time or day.
- Regular presence at the Austin, TX main office is required, unless working offsite at another business unit.
- Typical work schedule will be 45-55 hours per week.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Foundational knowledge of building systems and equipment, with the ability to quickly learn specific systems.
- Strong record-keeping and documentation skills, including managing warranties and contracts.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
- Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry trades.
- Basic groundskeeping skills, as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to develop and maintain a Learning Management System (LMS) for company development and resource management.
- Ability to create quarterly reports on R&M costs, project management, capital expenditures, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead contract negotiations with vendors.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- This role requires to travel, may include overnight weekdays and weekends.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, or a combination of experience and formal training in a related trade (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) from a technical or trade school.
