- Ensure all Plant management staff and appropriate operational personnel are aware of current and pending regulatory requirements
- Assist in creating processes that identify, evaluate, and control hazards in the workplace.
- Provide and track training to comply with applicable OSHA requirements.
- Provide industrial hygiene support as needed to evaluate employee noise and other health exposures.
- Manage all mandatory air, water and waste compliance assurance-monitoring activities at the facility, including DOT.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline or other program applicable to the health, safety and environmental fields are required.
- Requires minimum of three years of experience working in industrial health, safety and environmental activities.
- Working knowledge of the VPP process and various safety regulations or standards (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, NEC, et…)
- Professional certification is desired.
