Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users through help desk services, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with VPN connections, firewalls, and other network-related issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the security of IT infrastructure.
- Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira to track incidents and manage requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions that enhance productivity.
- Document processes and create user guides for common technical issues.
Experience
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and desktop support is essential.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies, firewall configurations, and computer networking principles.
- Experience using help desk tools such as Remedy or ServiceNow is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques is preferred.
- Experience or knowledgeable in Milestone XProtect
