Knowledge of students with disabilities, curriculum modification, learning styles, and appropriate accommodations is necessary. Reports to the Academic Curriculum Coordinator.Responsibilities and Duties: 1.Participate in daily and classroom activity planning.2.Conducts learning exercises with small groups or individual students.3.Guides students in working with other students.4.Alerts the teacher to special needs of individual students.5.Helps maintain individual records for each student.6.Helps to maintain discipline under supervision of teacher.7.Assists teacher in maintaining a safe and clean work and study environment.8.Assists with the supervision of students during regular classroom/shop periods.9.Collects data for IEP reviews/reevaluations.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
