Senior Accountant - $100-120K plus 10-15% bonus

Job Description:
● Perform all aspects of accounting from A to Z for 5-10 of your assigned entities/companies.
● Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations; prepaids; analyze and reconcile retainage and accounts payable ledgers; prepare fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
● Work with outside CPA and provide them the necessary documents needed to do tax returns, estimated taxes as well as other forms and applications needed to comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements for each of your assigned entities.
● Work with outside CPA and provide documents needed to prepare Reviewed Financial Statements for each of your assigned entities as well as one Compiled Financial Statement.
● Maintain financial records for your assigned entities by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
● Bank Reconciliations for your assigned entities.
● Prepare and complete special reports such as: semiannually updating Cash Flow Projection spreadsheet, Quarterly Cash Position report (how much money we have in all of the many bank accounts), semiannual summary of all loans & LOC’s and several other special reports.
● Correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
● Secure financial information by keeping information confidential.
● Maintain accounting controls by following checks and balances as well as other policies and procedures; develop new ones as needed.
● Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
● Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
● Accomplish accounting and organizational missions by taking necessary actions and delivering excellent results.
Job Qualifications and Requirements that are a Must
● Experience working in a small company.
● Very stable job history.
● BA / BS or equivalent degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or Finance.
● Min 5 years of general accounting experience in the US.
● Good attitude, team player, multi-tasker, producer of very high quality and quantity of work.
● Ability to resolve complex issues and/or challenges; work with little or no supervision.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
Job Qualifications and Requirements that are a Big Plus
● Knowledge & experience in investment analysis, evaluation & underwriting.
● Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
