About the Role :
Under the direction of the Metallurgical Engineering Manager, the Foundry Dip Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining the dip cell, ensuring that the shells are properly coated and cured. You will also be responsible for monitoring the quality of the slurries and adjusting as necessary. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain the dip cell and slurries to ensure proper coating and curing of the shell.
- Manage robotic dip cell to ensure cell runs efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor dip cell environment to ensure proper temperature and humidity set points.
- Make slurry mixes per procedure and manage all testing required to keep slurry in good health.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control data.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
