General Description
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Master Scheduler will develop and maintain the schedule to support the needs of BCT manufacturing production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Coordinate with procurement on incoming product schedules for use in the Master Production schedule.
- Work with Project Management and Engineering to review both current projects still in engineering and potential new projects to determine capacities & lead times.
- Use Power BI to pull data from the ERP system and create the Master Production schedule, ensuring that it aligns with customer orders, inventory levels, production capacity, and process needs.
- Create work orders and bill of materials with detailed parts lists for each department throughout the manufacturing process. Close out work orders in the ERP system once the process is completed.
- Provide regular production reports using the ERP system to operations / management teams, showing any bottlenecks in productions, resource constraints, and lead times.
- Maintain a detailed schedule for projects and be able to adjust based on customer needs and inventory / material availability.
- Supports and drives BCT’s culture and core values.
