What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Scheduler position at ETE REMAN?
Job Overview : The Master Scheduler is responsible for, but not limited to, the creation of the production planning strategy to drive the collaborative, tactical scheduling of manufacturing activities within the production facility. Directly responsible for ensuring that production schedules are balanced and efficient to satisfy demand with supply within required timeline, quality standards, and total cost constraints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and maintain the production scheduling of products through the production process with a focus on the customer.
- Ensure a collaborative and optimized plan is created with input from all key stakeholders across the organization.
- Maintain focus on optimization of resource utilization and full cycle / process efficiency for timely order fulfillment.
- Analyze forecasts, resource data and production factors to communicate a coherent strategy and monthly / weekly schedules.
- Identify potential schedule disruptions and develop contingency plans to mitigate adverse effects to customers.
- Develop monitoring processes to ensure schedule adherence while preemptively reporting performance to business leaders.
Requires a willingness to "live in the data" and identify concerns while developing solutions simultaneously.
