Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in clerical and human resource functions. This role is essential for ensuring efficient office management, supporting team development, and maintaining a productive work environment.

Duties

  • Manage daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication between customers and management.
  • Oversee front desk activities, including greeting visitors and managing incoming calls.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for both physical and electronic documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in schedule management for team members, including appointment setting and calendar coordination.
  • Coordinate the ongoing schedule for upcoming appointments and job prospects.
  • Support human resources functions such as managing the company Quickbooks account, payroll and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Lead team management efforts to foster a collaborative work environment and address any personnel issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office management role or similar position.
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and clientele.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Familiarity with event planning processes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction management practices is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks, Calendar) for various administrative tasks.
