As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' educational and behavioral needs. We are looking for dedicated individuals who meet all local and state requirements to apply.
Requirements:
- 1 intensive support paraprofessional for a self-contained program, and another paraprofessional for 1:1 support in Kindergarten and Grade 1
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Completion of a Paraprofessional training program or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by local and state regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans and instructional materials
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs or learning challenges
- Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement strategies
- Support students during transitions between activities or locations within the school
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to address student needs and progress
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records
