POSITION SUMMARY :
The candidate will have high energy and enthusiasm with a passion for people and food. The best candidate will have nutritional and wellness awareness as well as extensive food production experience. In addition, the ideal employee will have the following skills : people, organizational, and customer service. The candidate will work a grill and sandwich station to facilitate the needs of Blendtec’s 1st shift. The Bistro’s expectation is to work hard, work clean, and assist in all cooking and cleaning as needed.
- Minimum 1 year culinary experience or culinary degree
- Current Utah County Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Certification
- Understand and demonstrate fundamentals of all cooking methods
- Proven ability to be self-motivated in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong prep and knife skills
- Able to prep, work, and clean with minimal supervision
- Expected to keep station clean and assist with all closing duties and some POS work
- We feature grill items, sandwiches, and some breakfast items, with a potentially growing evening menu
