Job Summary
This entry level Accounts Payable Administrator will support the property accountants managing the accounts payable functions for all corporate entities associated with BRES. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, maintaining meticulous records, and supporting various accounting projects.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing:
· Process high volume invoices into Predict AP daily.
· Verify invoice data and select the correct workflow.
· Ensure accurate and timely entry of all invoices into the Yardi system for payment.
· Post approved payables and upload them into Yardi.
Vendor and Invoice Management:
· Research and resolve invoices returned to Accounts Payable.
· Review vendor statements and request copies of missing invoices.
· Respond promptly to internal staff and external vendor inquiries.
Compliance and Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Assist with other projects or tasks as needed.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role preferred.
· Proficiency in Yardi or similar accounting software is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Work Environment
· This position is based in our Kansas City office and requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday with flexible working hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
