Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Hookah Makers to join our vibrant Hookah Lounge team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality hookah experiences to our guests while maintaining a welcoming and clean environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in the food industry, particularly in quick service or fast food settings, and possess strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble hookahs according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all hookah equipment is sanitized and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Upsell additional products such as flavored tobacco, drinks, and snacks to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Operate point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS) for processing orders accurately.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lounge area, including regular cleaning of tables and lounge equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with sales techniques and upselling strategies is a plus.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a café or lounge setting is essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
