Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Hookah Makers to join our vibrant Hookah Lounge team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality hookah experiences for our guests, ensuring that each session is enjoyable and memorable. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and providing exceptional service while adhering to health and safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hookah flavors and blends according to customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the hookah lounge, including equipment and seating areas.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their tastes.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed when serving snacks or beverages.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of hookah supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Uphold the lounge’s ambiance by ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a quick service fast food restaurant setting is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
