Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Hookah Makers to join our vibrant Hookah Lounge team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality hookah experiences to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service, a keen interest in hookah preparation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve hookah to customers following established recipes and techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the hookah preparation area and lounge.
- Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and in good working condition.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payments.
- Monitor inventory levels of hookah supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items as needed.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or a quick-service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A passion for creating memorable experiences for guests in a lively setting.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.09 per hour
