File Clerk/ Errand Runner Needed in the New Bern Area for Prominent Law Firm -
PRIOR OFFICE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal applicant will be a motivated individual who is interested in performing basic filing and clerical duties.
We are seeking an individual who is able to work independently without outside distractions.
Basic data entry skills are needed to be successful in this role.
The file clerk is responsible for receiving all completed legal documents for storage. Will also be responsible for going to the courthouse and delivering documents to the appropriate divisions for filing.
Other responsibilities will include: maintaining supply inventories, processing incoming/outgoing mail, taking bank deposit to bank and picking up mail at post office.
Qualifications and skills needed:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good active listening skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Great time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- Very keen attention to detail
Full time; Monday- Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-1pm
Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $12/hr
Must pass Background Check and Drug Screen
