Job Summary:
The Pool Servicing Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall operation of swimming pools, ensuring they are safe, clean, and fully functional. This role involves managing a team of pool technicians, scheduling regular servicing, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Management and Supervision:
- Lead and supervise a team of pool technicians and service staff.
- Conduct training sessions for new employees and ongoing training for current staff.
- Schedule and delegate daily tasks and assignments to ensure timely and efficient pool servicing.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Oversee regular maintenance of swimming pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as controllers, lights, pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide expert advice to clients on pool maintenance and care.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain detailed records of pool maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Order and manage inventory of pool chemicals, parts, and supplies.
- Prepare and manage invoices, and service contracts.
Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of service.
- Perform regular inspections of pools and equipment to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures for pool servicing and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in pool maintenance is preferred.
- Proven experience in pool maintenance, repair, and service management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
