Job Summary: Reporting to the VP, International Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for researching, collecting, organizing, and reporting of data in support of research, financial costing analysis, and other data related needs as required. Create and present reports and communicate cross-functionally as required. Key Responsibilities: The Supply Chain Analyst will support the Regional Supply Chain Directors, Managers, and Export Operations. Develop cost model analytics thru analysis of the relevant commodity markets, supply agreements, foreign exchange rate impacts, and other key factors influencing cost outlooks. Create and maintain an updated global supplier database, to include suppliers and distributors, key contacts for both, as well an item purchased database. Research and analysis to help drive cost savings and optimization in the International Supply Chain. Research commodity markets, help identify trends, and create reports, and to summarize findings, in support of the development of purchasing strategies. Maintain database of Forex exchange rates on a historical basis. Create and maintain Global Supplier and Items Database. Support with research and analysis for cost savings initiatives in Purchasing, Distribution, Logistics, and other areas impacting cost in the various countries. Work with Export operations to develop Logistics Provider cost and service analytics to ensure we optimize cost and service Design and produce ad hoc reporting as requested. Participate on cross-functional teams or work on special projects as needed. Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures necessary for completion of tasks. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor (or higher) degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree. Entry level may be acceptable, but a Minimum four (4) years direct experience preferred, in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Finance, Distribution, Commodity Analytics, Consulting, or other related fields. Previous experience in a work environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist. Evidence of effective collaboration with others on performance metrics and cost-saving initiatives. Evidence of advanced computer skills with heavy focus on XL and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to use the internet for research and create reports to present findings in a professional or educational environment. Highly developed communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation. Proven analytical skills and problem-solving abilities and the ability to translate data plans in support of actionable outcomes. Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Evidence of strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
