Job Summary
Blue Ridge Boat Rentals in Morganton, GA, is seeking one office attendant to join our 11-person strong team. We are located at 7715 Old Hwy 76. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.

We are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day from March until September. You are required to arrive at 7 a.m. to set up and prepare for customers to arrive at 8 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Open the office and ensure all lights and signs are on.
  • Check-in customers through our booking system.
  • Answer phone calls and emails from customers, and assist in helping them make a booking.
  • Straighten up merchandise and office space throughout the day.
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with calendar management, scheduling reservations, and creating templates.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing documents, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Support administrative tasks by preparing reports and managing office supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication within the office.
  • Utilize computerized systems for scheduling and record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work on weekends
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to work in a high-intensity job environment.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with calendar management tools and office software applications.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
