What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern/Temp position at Blue River Services?
Overview
The purpose of the Human Resources internship is to provide the intern meaningful, real world work experience in a Human Resources department while also providing an educational setting to learn and grow.
The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for:
1. Posting jobs on various job boards.
2. Attending Job Fairs as needed.
3. Developing and implementing two agency job fairs for Blue River Services and Rauch.
4. Learning and providing guidance on the Applicant Tracking System utilized by the organizations.
5. Researching and developing new recruitment efforts.
6. Running the agency employee recognition programs.
7. Preparing monthly Service Award Letters and Certificates.
8. Reporting on position openings and recruitment efforts.
9. Assisting the ERC Committee Co-chairs in Employee Relation Committee initiatives.
10. Assisting in other areas as needed
In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities, the internship can include, by request, a relevant long-term project or series of projects if required by the educational institution’s internship requirements and if agreed on by the intern and the internship supervisor. Any internship requirements per the intern’s educational institution will be followed.
