Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of maintenance personnel across multiple shifts in a 24/7 production environment.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely execution and accurate documentation.
- Diagnose and address equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
- Uphold and enforce workplace safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and necessary supplies to support maintenance operations.
- Track maintenance performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Conduct employee training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, ensuring regulatory and compliance documentation is up to date.
- Participate in root cause analysis and initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
- Facilitate clear communication across departments regarding maintenance plans and status updates.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the department.
Skill Set:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
