INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
A Pool Bar Security responsibility is to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling, monitoring and ensures the safety of pool. The guard observes signs of danger or disorder and investigates disturbances.
- Seasonal roles are not eligible for health benefits. Seasonal roles are eligible for sick time and holiday pay.

- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Trained in Lifeguarding/First Aid
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be available to work afternoons and weekends
WHAT YOU WILL WORK WITH

- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry
- Obtains help by sounding alarms
- Safeguards and regulates the conduct of pool and waterpark patrons. Enforces park policies, rules, and regulations. Rescues patrons and performs appropriate follow-up procedures, including the proper use of equipment in the performance of first aid.
- Respond quickly, intelligently, and decisively by establishing emergency and accident procedures. Must be alert and actively seek to prevent accidents and eliminate risk.
- Must administer CPR and first aid as appropriate per accident protocols. Provides written reports on all accidents. Maintains properly updated safety requirements.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers
- Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
- Performs work safely by departmental safety procedures. Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work conditions or practices to the supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides regular and reliable attendance
WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- LIFEGUARD TRAINING PROVIDED BY SUN OUTDOORS REHOBOTH BAY CAMPGROUND
- Applicant must be 21 years old (REQUIRED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 75 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for. We require each of our team members to have an All-Hands-On-Deck mindset. This means you may be tasked with other functions and are expected to complete those tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication as you would with your normal job duties.
