Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Handle member statement inquiries and process member statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage deferred dues processing and maintain the dues schedule for accurate financial reporting.
- Record RMA revenue and expenses accurately on member accounts.
- Process daily cash (checks) and ensure proper separation of duties within cash handling processes.
- Post and reconcile daily POS transactions.
- Follow up on all delinquent accounts via letters and phone calls to ensure timely payments.
- Perform reconciliation of accounts receivable-related balance sheet accounts.
- Enter and reconcile Club Holdings transactions as part of the daily accounting process.
- Reconcile deposits and Club Holdings bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in the implementation of new Accounting Software (Northstar, going live on 03/01/2024).
- Bring a positive attitude and be ready to assist in various departments as needed.
- Cross-train in Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions to support the overall department.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

- Prior experience in an accounts receivable or accounting role is highly desired.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software; experience with Northstar is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
