Introduction to BlueOval SK
We will lead the transformation of the electric vehicle (EV) battery business through partnership with Ford and SK On, providing products and processes that increase customer experience.
The future of BlueOval SK will be shaped by you as we build the batteries required for electric vehicle business excellence, working alongside our teams in a unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead Industrial Engineers to develop productivity proposals, improve work station set up, and implement engineering changes.
- Supervise/coach Industrial Engineers, lead headcount cost savings projects, and supervise monthly tracking of progress.
- Lead cycle line layout, plan for mix and line speed changes, and manage departmental rolls analysis.
- Serve as a resource for plant Industrial Engineer training/assistance and lead future model labor development.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly, possess job placement flexibility, and demonstrate strong customer orientation.
- A proven willingness to take a participatory approach to union relations, strong written and verbal communications skills, and ability to serve as a technical mentor.
- Flexibility to significant travel during initial plant start-up phase and willingness to work at temporary facilities as needed.
